Get Away (2024) - First Watch Friday

This is a British horror comedy which was written by, and starred, Nick Frost. It also starred comedian/actress Aisling Bea who is always hilarious, so I had high hopes for this one.

It is about a family that vacations to a Swedish island on a public holiday where they plan to see a play that is the re-telling of the islands history.

Honestly, this one wasn't really for me. There were the odd funny moments, but it didn't do enough to keep me that interested in it, so by the time we got to the cool twist, I was already a little checked out.

It's not one I'd particularly recommend, though some might enjoy it more than I did. It's an average 2.5/5 from me.
