Radon Journal October 2026 Issue:
Seeking science fiction stories and poetry with elements of anarchism, transhumanism, dystopia, and strong leftist social commentary. Writers can submit flash fiction, short stories, and poetry through their no-fee Submittable page.

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR:
Radon Journal publishes speculative fiction and poetry that pushes beyond entertainment and engages with social, political, and technological questions. They are especially interested in science fiction with anarchist, dystopian, and transhumanist themes, and stories that include thoughtful leftist social commentary. Fantasy is not accepted, and all submissions must be original, unpublished work.

For quicker processing, please use a submission style similar to the modern manuscript format. We ask that you utilize single-spacing. Please note that we do not publish fantasy stories and are looking for work that includes leftist social commentary.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
We kindly request a third-person bio that is 100-words or shorter in your cover letter.
RIGHTS REQUESTED
For original work, Radon asks for first worldwide digital and print publication rights in English and non-exclusive archival rights.
