Without Your Head: 30 Years of Troma Recap!

I tuned in to check out the chat with Will Keenan and John Brennan and learned SO much, as well as getting all kinds of laughs! Definitely go give the live a watch if you missed it. ~Tasha

"Will Keenan joined 'Nasty' Neal, Tara Hutchison and 'Terrible' Troy live to celebrate 30 years of Troma — Tromeo & Juliet (1996), where he played Tromeo, and Terror Firmer, where he starred and also produced and cast. His hour covered getting cast in Tromeo and the brutal reality of Troma sets, script changes and working with a young James Gunn, his years in Bollywood and the move to digital media, and 30 years of Troma's fanbase and legacy. John Brennan also crashed Keenan's hour early — in full costume as Michael McDonald for Halloween, an impersonation he kept up through singer trivia and audience Q&A before his own interview later in the show."

How does Will Keenan think Shakespeare would react to seeing his works converted into Troma projects?⬇️

"I used to say it's like going through war… I did two Troma movies and every day people would quit. It was like a revolving door." — Will Keenan

At 10 PM, John Brennan — formerly of Joe Bob's The Last Drive-In and a Troma producer — joined the show, including the story behind "Splatter-Fu," the song he wrote for GWAR on the new album GWAR and the Last Drive-In-Stein (out November 13), his start as a Troma volunteer, and his tribute song for Roger Corman.

"I was stoked as anything — it was like Fabio Frizzi live from the drive-in… I got to sing a song at the end called 'Thank You, Maestro.' And he did a solo. It was amazing." — John Brennan (1:37:31)

"I'm just really proud of the GWAR thing… to write a song for Beavis and Butt-Head's favorite band and to have them collaborate with me is just insane." — John Brennan (1:31:00)
